Influenster Summer Splash Vox Box Review

Hey guys, sorry about the lack of posting lately. School has been crazy!

The summer splash box by Influenster arrived and while I haven’t had time to post lately I have however been using the products for the last few weeks and been keeping mental notes of everything so here it is – my thoughts on everything that I received. Please keep in mind that I did receive everything free of charge, however my thoughts and opinions are completely my own about all the products.

The first thing I noticed were a pair of kiss lashes, and while I haven’t opened mine up yet I can easily speak to these because as someone who wears lashes almost everyday, I’ve worn these about a million times.

Kiss Naked Drama Collection Lashes – Tulle

These lashes by Kiss are part of their Naked Drama Collection, and I received the pair in Tulle. I’ve worn these on multiple occasions and usually have a pair on handy for my nights out or for date night. A bit heavy for everyday, but they go on great and don’t feel heavy at all. I like them because the band is also pretty easy to clean, meaning as long as you take care of them – you can get a lot of uses out of them. At night, I just gently peel the residual glue off, and they are ready to go for the next time.

Here’s a link to Ulta beauty where you can get these for only $6.99, which is pretty decent for a re-wearable pair.

Eva NYC Mane Magic Shampoo & Conditioner

This is one product (I guess technically two) I was intrigued about. I’ve heard about Eva NYC but never got a chance to try to buy any of their hair products. I find hair products one of the hardest products to buy. There are SO many out there, I tend to get overwhelmed whenever I go into the store.

First of all – lets start with my hair type. I’ve got long, fine asian hair and have issues with tangling, volume, and just overall dullness. This product promises to strengthen hair while also giving 10 additional benefits featuring argan oil as one of the ingredients. Coming for from a skincare background that was already an ingredient I knew and loved. My hair felt lightweight and easy to manage after just one use, and the product smells great. The 10 benefits promised are moisturizing, reducing frizz, strengthening, softening, revitalizing, nourishing, reducing breakage, smoothing, increasing manageability, and creating a healthy look and feel.

Wet n Wild Photo Focus 3-in-1 Primer Water and Primer

Now I did promise a real review – and these two products I were pretty skeptical about. I’ve never been a huge fan of Wet n Wild products. Going in with a somewhat biased opinion, I was pleasantly surprised. The primer worked great. I put it on before a 10 hour day, and still was photo ready end of the day. The setting spray I actually kept it in my purse as a mid-shift touchup. The only cons I have about the product were the scent. These ones smelled a little more synthetic than what I would like, and a bit overpowering. Now I know some people may have issues with dimethicone being an ingredient in the primer. The truth is dimethicone isn’t as scary as it sounds. These products come at less than $6 a pop as well, so they won’t break the bank!

The last product it came withI’m asking my readers out there to help me out! Has anyone had a chance to use the Smile’s Prid Homeopathic Drawing Salve? Leave me some comments below as what some of your favorite uses for this little guy is. Would love to hear from you. And as usual please feel free to leave any other comments below as well! Did anyone else receive this box and what were your thoughts? Feel free to send me links to other beauty blog posts too! I love discovering other writers out there in the inter-verse. Until next time ♥
